My Assessment Criteria for a G19 IWB Holster
There are a few things that are important to me when looking at a IWB holster. Other folks might have different needs to mine, but I am sure you will be able to find a good holster for yourself if you keep these considerations in mind also.
Comfort
This is the most important consideration for me, especially as I will carry my G19 all day every day. An IWB will typically be tight against your body, so it must be made from a material that will not agitate your skin or scuff your clothing.
For me, leather holsters are often more comfortable to carry for longer periods of time than Kydex or Nylon holsters. This is because leather holsters are softer and will agitate my skin less.
Price
With everything getting more and more expensive, we have to consider the price and value for money that a holster offers. Some holsters cost less than some of the fancier holsters, but still offer great value for money. I love a good bargain!
Quality
I do not want to sacrifice quality for a good price though. A holster must be reliable and be able to stand up to daily wear and tear.
