What I Look For in a CCW Holster For Glock 19
How comfortable is the holster
When it comes to CCW holsters, the main objective is of course concealability. But on top of that, comfort is a big factor for me.
As the G19 is a great everyday carry weapon, I will carry my G19 regularly and possibly for long periods of time. For that reason, any CCW holster I pick must be comfortable enough to enable long periods of comfortable carry.
How practical is the holster
Another important aspect I consider is how practical the holster is to carry.
Should holsters is a option for the G19, but as a civilian I am unlikely to carry a should holsters. You would typically need to wear a jacket to conceal the weapon when wearing a shoulder holster.
Belly band holsters might be comfortable, but accessibility might be an issue if you need to be able to access your weapon quickly.
Ankle holsters is likely to be the most popular CCW option for the G19, however I personally would be concerned that the size of the G19 would make it less concealable and comfortable.
